So you have decided that you want to be part of the Smoky Mountain Doodle family? It is with great pride that we welcome you! There are a few steps that need to be completed for your family to be placed on our waitlist.
You will need to complete and submit our online puppy application. After we have received and reviewed your application, I will send you an email or text to let you if you have been approved. After your application has been received and approved, we will contact you to determine if you are ready to pay the reservation fee on a particular puppy litter waitlist. This $300 (non-refundable, but transferable to another litter up to three times or two years — whichever comes first) reservation fee should be made via Venmo to account @sherryjhedrick or by check to Sherry Hedrick, 1322 Cunningham Road West, Seymour, TN 37865. If you choose to pay the reservation fee by check, your reservation becomes effective when your check has been received. The $300 reservation fee is deducted from the purchase price of your puppy.
Puppy selection is made in the order that reservation fees were received. Once you have received confirmation that your payment was received, your name will appear on our online wait list. Please be aware that we, Smoky Mountain Doodles, always retain the right to first puppy selection on every litter. We may, or may not, exercise that right.
Families that have placed deposits will choose their puppy when the puppies are three weeks old. Selection will be made via Facetime (or phone if someone is unable to Facetime). We will have posted several pictures and videos of the puppies to our Facebook page prior to puppy selection day. Timeslots will be scheduled for each family to make their selection! (We do not allow visits to the farm until the puppies have been vaccinated which is between 7-8 weeks old.)
Puppy selection will take place in the order that reservation fees were received. Since some families on the waitlist may choose to wait for a different litter to arrive, it is possible that you may get moved to a higher number on the waitlist after puppy selection has taken place.
The balance is due on or prior to pick-up day. Balance payments may be made via Facebook Messenger, Venmo, check, or by cash. If paying the balance by check, the check must be received by Smoky Mountain Doodles at least two weeks prior to puppy pickup day.
