About Us — Established 2017

A SPECIAL MESSAGE FOR SMOKY MOUNTAIN DOODLES FAMILES.

After many blessed and unforgettable years, I am retiring from breeding.

What began as a love for dogs grew into something far greater—a journey filled with joy, purpose, and the privilege of connecting with so many wonderful families.

To each of you who welcomed a Smoky Mountain Doodles puppy into your home, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your trust in me, your kind words, and the updates and photos you’ve shared over the years have meant more than I could ever fully express. Watching these puppies grow into cherished companions has been one of my life’s greatest rewards.

Each puppy carried a small piece of my heart, and knowing they are loved and cared for by families like yours brings me comfort and gratitude.

Though this chapter is coming to a close, the memories, friendships, and joy we’ve shared will stay with me always.

Thank you for being part of the Smoky Mountain Doodles family.

With sincere gratitude and warmest wishes,

Sherry

————————————————————————————————–

Although Smoky Mountain Doodles was established in 2017, we actually live on Century Farm in Seymour, Tennessee, in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains.  Our farm has been in the Hedrick family for five generations.

In the past, we bred and raised Labrador Retrievers and English Setters.  In addition to being best friends with Lynn, the Retrievers were partners in duck hunting and the Setters were used to point quail and pheasants.  We also participated in horseback field trials for many years.

We share the farm with our dogs, several cats, Tennessee Walking Horses, and Hereford/Angus cattle.
